Bookari Ebook Reader Premium App revisa

Ah

Server is down 502 error!

Needs better iPad support

It is getting more and more difficult to use this app. It doesn’t utilize the newer 10.5 or 11 inch screens. Needs an update badly.

It used to be good.

When I first got this app, is was by far the best ebook Reader on the market. That has changed, with it now freezing, crashing, not being able to advance the page without having to force close the app. To bad but I will have to find a new Reader.

Terrible don’t waste your $

No way to stop spinning page turns Android version is aaa. iPad version has no difference between paid and free. And no way to get your money back If I could give it -stars I would

Needs a lot of work

The ideas are great. The implementation, shaky. Ice cubes every five pages, styles don’t work. Guys, be serious and fix those problems.

The worst

I don’t like It freeze a lot

Won't work on my iPad Pro

I have several iPads snd Bookari works ok but I can't get it to work on my iPad Pro. I sent several emails for support but none have been answered

Site down?

I'm trying to sync and it says it can't connect to the server. I went to the Bookari website and get a message saying your domain registration has expired! I pay for this service so I would like to know if you guys have just decided to close up shop without notice? If so I need to find a product that matches this one. It's a shame because I loved this app.

Needs work

I bought this because I was told it was fantastic.... well you don't have the features I want. I hate the "realistic page turning effect" that's why I hate iBooks. Give us more control of the look and feel of our reading experience and it would be PERFECT

I experience a serious battery drain

Beautifully designed but I'am annoyed by the rapid battery consumption of Bookari app (iPad Mini 4/iOS 10.1.1).

Very Good book reader

Has many good features & functions, The only complaint I have is when it is set in dark mode The pictures in the publications look like negatives. Could you please adjust so that the pictures are true-to-life.

Very Upset

Apparently Montano doesn't want my money for the cloud service. Every time I try to subscribe, I get error message. I can't even get into the My Account page without getting error messages. Last but not least, I can't even get a reply from them to give me any inkling as to what the problem might be on their end. If this doesn't get resolved in the next 48 hours I'll be looking into a different app to spend my money on. It's really to bad because I really love the functionality of the app and the cloud service. 👎

Finally gave up

This app constantly forgets what book I am reading. If I am rereading a book it also will not take me to the page I am on.

Everything is good except

That if an ebook has more than 1000 pages and i search for word, it freezes after getting some findings and the app become unresponsive. Other than that it is perfect :)

Finally usable version

Good points: Working Mantano Cloud support (unlike previous version which didn’t really work) with all their good features. Even last access bug on not-read books now works.. Bad points: no ‘Today’ widget (like Kindle’s), no support for Spotlight on iOS9 (like Goodreads and Bookmate)

Crashes, Freezes, and won't Highlight

I am tired of the app crashing, freezing, or not saving highlights in my ePubs. It happens no matter what I do. This app was not worth paying for.

eBook Researcher

I have tried for months to get this app to settle down and operate properly. It takes forever to brings in large epubs and most times does not bring in the highlights therefore I have to close and open the app several times to get them. It also will not go backwards page by page sometimes but will jump backwards to a whole chapter. It is simply very frustrating trying to use this app as nice as it appears to be.

Great ePub3 Reader!

Handles footnote popovers with ease, taking full advantage of ePub version 3...seems to be the only reader for iPhone or iPod that does that, that I've found (not comparing with iPad since iBooks handles popovers just fine...it's just iBooks for iPhone/iPod that does not...yet). Needs to add few more iBooks features like vertical scrolling and easier method of highlighting text

Very good, but still has a few issues

The good: Support for EPUB3 and PDF. I won't need to have my book collection spread over multiple apps. The ability to make sub-collections. I have a large number of books and it's *much* easier to keep them neatly organized in Mantano. The not-so-good: When I was sorting my books into Collections, the app kept crashing. As frequently as every couple of minutes. Very annoying. Some of the metadata in EPUB3 books is getting stripped out. I noticed that after importing my eBooks into Mantano, information such as publisher, series, and book descriptions that I had added in Calibre was now missing from some of them. This only seems to be a thing with the EPUB3 books. Those two issues are keeping me from giving 5 stars, but hopefully they can be fixed in a future update.

I can't write annotation!!

When I hold my fingers on a certain word, to which I want to write annotation, the app crushes!!!

Review

I like the app very much, but I have a couple of request. I'd rather have a choice to scroll or turn pages. I also would like to be able to move the note box because it lays over the paragraph that I'm studying and need to review it in order to give my answer. it also would be nice if we could shrink the note box or enlarge the note box, and to be able to place it where we want it. That would make it perfect.

Leon.

The best e/book reader ! Have not seen better. Thank's. Leon.

Crashing!!!!

Just bought this App but can't use it because it keeps crashing.... Am very angry right now

Good, but needs...

...a way to see on the page where you left a note on ePub (i.e. Flag, symbol, tag, etc.). It would be nice if there was a more dedicated button. Also don't know how to delete custom colors created.

Shadow of perfection

I was really pleased to see Mantano release their reader on iOS. Having used it on the alien, this reader does everything right for ePub PDF and sync. I look forward to the future release which allows cross platform sync, PDF crop and drawing annotations. Please keep the updates coming!

Almost perfect!

Great for highlighting and notetaking. One issue I have is that I would like the text to stay black instead of changing color when it is highlighted. Black text w/yellow highlight instead of a dark yellow text w/yellow highlight. I really appreciate the footnote popup, so many other ebook apps do not have this feature. If there was a way to enbed the footnote into the page, I would like that a future feature.

Freezes

I liked it but freeze when I use ePub3 book from Jw.org too bad that's my main reason I purchased it

Promising, but needs work

Basics are in place, but critical reading comfort features are missing, such as turning "page turn" special effect off are missing. Readers need control over all aspects of the ebook experience.

Not as good as the one available in other platform

This reader comes without the cloud service, note taking capabilities and other powerful features available in the other competing platform. I changed to Ipad hoping I would have a strong reader with Mantano, but I feel deceived. This is not in line with my expectations.

Great ebook reader

I have used Mantano on my nexus for 6 months. I have over 300 titles, some books and others are documents. I have found it the easiest reader for creating collections, adding tags for refined sorting, annotating, and gathering notes. I subscribe to the premium version, which lets me sync across devices. I am so glad there is now an ios version that I can install on my phone. I have found it far more useful and flexible than Aldiko, Moon+, and certainly better than any of the specialized readers such as kindle, nook, or google reader.

Excited!

I'm so excited to find this app for my ios tablet. I have used it on my Nexus 7 and love the beauty of it. I have been looking for an app that could handle pdfs and epub files on my iPad and now I have found it. I just tried it on my iPad and it's similar to my Nexus 7, except the Nexus app is smoother. Also, some features are different, but works the same way. At the bottom of the screen it says annotate instead of write, and the highlight feature does not place the choice colors at the top of the screen for easy selection while highlighting. I found that feature less time consuming and faster highlighting. I'm hoping I will get use to using it this way for ios. Thanks for the dictionary feature, it comes in handy. I would love to see a selection for underlining and freehand drawing on both tablets. I have iAnnotate, and its a wonderful app for pdfs on my ios, but lackluster on my Nexus. If only they did epubs on ios, I would not have needed another app. Within the last 2 weeks I've tried MarginNote and Wireshare apps. I thought MarginNote would do it all, but no underlining, dictionary or freehand drawing. It will be useful for other things. Wireshare is not a good epub reader in my opinion. It has all the needed features for PDFs and many other things. Mantano should do the job and hopefully my search is over. Thanks Mantano for developing this app for ios users. I know it will get better!! ps: (4 stars only because it doesn't have that wonderful highlighting color choice feature at the top of the screen for easy selection as the Nexus) I just noticed page turning is really smooth on the ios! 14 February 2014 I'm having a hard time finding out how to activate voiceover and change font size. I've gone on the website and tried the suggestions, but nothing. Maybe I'm not following the instructions correctly. I just don't see settings - voiceover or font size even when I swipe as instructed. Help!
